Brora Update - 12.10.21

Today I came to Brora for a big surprise - Trish had printed out all my stories, including Featherwand, Me, You, And Transformers Cybertron and my amazing Heart Of The Sea poem! It was my duty as of today to show her my Autistica blog and Cool Australia's Bluey activities. Not only that, Trish also gave me a blue notebook which I themed around Autistica and I got to bring some post-it notes home. Well, almost...

My hot chocolate had a sticky bit which I put in the bin! Eeewww!
Featherwand and Heart Of The Sea.
Me, You, And Transformers Cybertron.

Trish showed me a magic box which, when pulled out, reveals little troll figurines and a bridge too. They reminded me of Where The Wild Things Are, so I decided to do my idea I was thinking about for a long time - A Boy Called Max. In it, Max is summoned to the island to bring peace to Carol and his tribe of monsters after their gods declare war. We also talked about a book where children spot things hidden in the background, called 'Treasure Quest', and we also looked at the poetry book that was sent to Kenneth Branagh (he narrated the Walking With trilogy).

I then not only showed Trish my Autistica blog, which is what you're looking at now, but I also showed her Cool Australia's Bluey activities. We picked Storytelling, because it is rich and diverse with subjects from Rug Island, Favourite Thing, Escape and Typewriter. Trish drew some numbers on some cards, and I had to pick some out. I chose teamwork and mindfulness, and I wrote my I.B.F.Fs In Australia version of Spy Game.

Trish then did the card thing again, and this time I picked achievement (Baby Race & Squash) and friendship (Mum School, Army & Barky Boats). Hopefully I'll do them another time, but this is getting me one step closer to achieving my dream. Plus, I get to send Trish as many stories as I want, even throughout the holidays, and I'll send Trish a blog update every Sunday! How cool is that?!
