The first lesson uses intentional teaching strategies to focus on the capability of inclusivity. Children will take part in creating a circus event. They must all become a part of the action by making up performances, helping others and being a part of the show. There are so many jobs to do in the circus and involving everyone is the secret to putting on the best circus show ever!
The second lesson uses intentional teaching strategies to focus on the capabilities of caring and kindness. Children will become a carer of a soft toy for the day. Through play, they will develop social and emotional skills to ‘see things differently’ and empathise with others. They will discover new ways of taking care and showing kindness.
